In particular, the article highlighted FujiClean’s advanced water filtration technology, efficient conversion of seawater to potable freshwater, and of course their world-famous onsite wastewater treatment systems.
Inspired by Japan’s ongoing need for treating wastewater in rural households, FujiClean, led by CEO Watanabe Kaichi, developed the FujiClean System.As one of the only manufacturers capable of meeting the Japanese government’s high water quality standards, FujiClean quickly became the top-selling maker of household treatment systems in Japan Once successful treatment began in Japan, FujiClean proceeded to test their products in other parts of the world, including the United States.
Chairman and CEO Watanabe Kaichi stated: “The process in the US was very different, as our units were tested against those of other makers, and the data made public,” says Watanabe. The FujiClean units not only ranked first in these tests for removal of pollutants, but they also surpassed the competition in cost-performance, removing nitrogen nearly 25% more cheaply than the average. As a result of this high performance, FujiClean has become the global top seller as well.
