Vote “YES” On The Suffolk County Water Quality Restoration Act!
On July 8th, 2024, Suffolk County Executive Ed Romain signed the Suffolk County Water Quality Restoration Act. This new law gives Suffolk voters the right to decide on crucial funding needed for clean water infrastructure in this year’s November ballot. The act meticulously outlines a plan to improve Suffolk County’s outdated wastewater infrastructure by providing a stable and recurring revenue source for upgrading septic systems to I/A systems like FujiClean and providing sewer connections and new sewage treatment plants in more developed areas.
